WHY A.C?
Casting director workshops can place you directly in front of casting offices that you may not have had to chance to meet or want to solidify your relationship with. It’s an opportunity for all actors (including those with no representation) to be seen by a casting director that casts a major network TV show, feature, independent and everything in between.
The A.C workshops are designed for you to familiarize yourself with casting directors in L.A and provide you with the tools to take your career to the next step. Instead of relying on other people to work for you why not take control yourself?
It’s up to you to be a diligent actor who keeps their eye on what’s being cast and who’s casting it. Try by selecting 6 of your top shows and then make it your mission to introduce yourself to the according casting offices.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The A.C hosts 2 different types of workshop. You can choose from a CASTING DIRECTOR WORKSHOP, SINGLE AGENT NIGHT or an AGENT SHOWCASE.

FIND OUT FROM YOUR BOOKING AGENT:
1. Who’s assigning sides?
2. Are they assigned ahead of time (e-mailed)?
3. Is it a cold read?

INTRODUCTION:
First we start with an introduction from the guest who’ll give general information including background, company info etc. Then we move into a Q & A session with the class. Approx 20 mins.

PRESENTATION:
After a short break (cold reads have at least 15-20 mins to prepare) we’ll move into scene presentation. Casting guests will provide feedback and re-direction if required. (NOTE: Agent showcases do not provide feedback).

FINAL COMMENTS:
We’ll close the workshop with a final Q & A session. You’ll also have a chance to provide the guest with demo reels, postcards etc.

GENERAL RULES
Workshops are scheduled in advance. If there are changes our guests schedules or the shows they work on, we cannot be held responsible. We will try to get you as much information as quickly as we can if there are any changes. If casting directors have to cancel unexpectedly we will inform you ASAP and reschedule. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Actor's Collective reserves the right to terminate membership at any time. By submitting information, the actor agrees to release The Actor's Collective of any liability.

CANCELLATION POLICIES:
There is a 48 Hour cancellation policy on all workshops. If you cancel, you will receive a credit in the amount you paid towards a future workshop or class. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.

If you cancel within 24 hours of the class or workshop, we will do our best to fill your spot, however, if the class is not full or there is no one to take your spot off the waitlist, you will be responsible for payment. If you provide adequate proof of non-attendance we may be able to provide a credit.

PLEASE NOTE: All information is current as of when the Casting Director is booked for the workshop. We are not responsible for casting directors changing offices/projects.
